About Gabi
Cars have always been part of my life.
Years ago, while living in Germany, I heard the sound of a BMW S54 engine for the first time. That moment stayed with me and sparked a passion that eventually led to building my own drift car.
Today I compete in drift events while continuing to learn, build, and improve both on and off the track. Most of the work happens in the garage – long evenings solving problems, upgrading parts, and pushing the builds further.
Driven By Gabi is more than drifting. It’s a place where I share the journey, the projects, and the passion behind the cars.

The Builds
Two chassis. One obsession. Built in the garage, driven on the limit.

Chassis
BMW E46 · M50 Turbo
When I bought the E46, it was a full DMEC-spec car – proper wild, with an S54 engine, a massive turbo, twin screamer pipes, Samsonas gearbox, full M3 suspension, IRP parts and BC Racing setup. But this car also taught me some expensive lessons. It made me take a step back, get my priorities right, learn things I never thought I’d need to know, and rebuild it properly. Now it’s a healthy drift “daily” – still impressive, but more reliable, running an M50 engine making 510+hp. A lot of the serious parts that came from this car will now live on in the new build, so in many ways, the E46 is the car that shaped everything that comes next.

Chassis
BMW E36 · S54 Turbo
This build is still in progress, but I can’t wait to bring it to life and hopefully make an impact with it too. It will be a widebody E36 with an S54 engine, aiming for close to 1000hp through a serious TurboSystems setup, built to be driven hard and felt every second. Suspension plans are still being finalised, but I’ve got a clear vision for where I want to take it, and I already know it’s going to be mega. Add in a Samsonas Motorsport gearbox for instant shifts and an awesome livery already planned, and this build should be something really special.
